From Thursday 15 November 2018, Ancient Market Place and the surrounding streets will be transformed into a spectacular Christmas market, spreading festive cheer across the town centre.
Throughout, you’ll be able to mosey around the traditional wooden cabins where you can uncover a treasure trove of unique and handmade goodies, perfect for stocking fillers and unusual gifts.
In Ancient Market Place and Alpine Village, along with live entertainment, you’ll find bars serving up steaming mugs of mulled wine and stalls dishing up classic street food. It’s the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere and get into the Christmas spirit.
Warm up by the fire pit in Alpine Village, which will be lit from 4pm on Thursdays and Fridays and all day Saturday and Sunday. Don't forget to pick up your marshmallows from the bar! 
The Candy Cane Forest is also back again, popping up a few weeks before Christmas. This children’s entertainment area has festive fairground rides, along with a few special surprises for the youngest visitors!

Thursday – Saturday       10.00am – 8.00pm
Candy Cane Forest will be open from Saturday 15 December
